The Cochise County Youth Orchestra (CCYO) is now welcoming string players to join in the fun. The 2012 Spring semester begins on January 10 and runs through May 8. The final concert will be on Wednesday, May 9, 7 p.m. at Kino Hall, 800 Taylor Dr, in Sierra Vista, AZ, right next door to St. Andrew’s Catholic Church.

Our schedule follows the school calendar with the first rehearsal on the first Tuesday of each new semester.

 

Frequency:  One day/week every Tuesday for 18 weeks

Tuition:  $105 for entire semester. That breaks down to about $6 per each hour and a half rehearsal with professional instruction

When:  4:00 pm - 5:30 pm

There will be no rehearsal on Tuesday, March 20, during spring break.

Students from elementary to high school age who have at least one year of playing experience and are either currently taking private lessons, or who pass an audition, are eligible to join this energetic group of players. A limited number of tuition scholarships are available.

There are two semesters per year. Spring semester runs from January through May, fall semester runs from August through December.

Rehearsal space is generously donated by Calvary’s Rock Church.
